AWARD CRITERIA:

 Outstanding & New Teacher Awards

• Current membership in Arizona Marketing Educators and currently teaching at the level nominated.  New educator is defined as 3 years or less of any teaching experience.
  
• Contributions to marketing education through teaching.  (Included in the process was information about years of experience, subject areas taught, course and/or program development, exemplary teaching techniques, and classroom teaching performance.)
  
• Participation, committee work, and offices held in professional business-related organizations.
  
• Evidence of professional development.  (Included in the process were activities such as speaking at conferences, chairing conference committees, facilitating conference sessions, and/or professional publications.)
  
• Involvement in department/administrative responsibilities or working with student organizations.
  
• Contributions to marketing education in community through religious, civic, government, cultural, or private business organizations.
  

Distinguished Service Award

• Contributions to Arizona Marketing Educators.  (Included in the decision were specific responsibilities, years of experience, involvement in AME and related organizations, plus evidence of effectiveness.)
  
• Evidence of service through involvement with DECA Area and State competitions.  (Positions held and responsibilities incurred.)
  
• Evidence of service through involvement with the business industry that have led to support for Arizona Marketing Educators.
  

Community Service Award

• Active member of Arizona Marketing Educators.
  
• Full-time classroom teacher in a recognized Marketing, Management, & Entrepreneurship program.
  
• Recognized for significant accomplishments in outstanding leadership programs and activities that promote community service.
  
• Evidence of significant contributions towards training, motivating, and inspiring peers and students to become involved in programs and projects that benefit the community.
  
• Demonstrates continuous service and support of AZME and marketing, management, and entrepreneurial education.
